MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Katie Mahaffey
RDN, NASM CPT, AFAA-CGFI, ZIN, MS Nutrition & Dietetics
Hi, I'm Katie! I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Personal Trainer (CPT), professionally trained dancer, and Fitness Instructor (CGFI). My life-long love of dance led me to the fitness world in 2015 when I became a Barre instructor. From then on, I've been hooked! In 2018, I received my Zumba Instructor Certification and became a member of the Zumba Instructor Network (ZIN). The following year, I became an Athletics and Fitness Association of America- Certified Group Fitness Instructor (AFAA-CGFI). In 2022, I received my personal trainer certification. After teaching in many studios and facilities, I am excited to be leading group workouts and personal training virtually through Your Time Health and Fitness. On top of my passion for exercise, I am a RDN, eager to help clients reach their nutrition goals. I work to promote good eating and physical movement to help people adopt a healthy lifestyle they love!
